Abstract

We present the case of a 32-year-old male with a history of abdominal pain, severe anemia and mental confusion. Iron deficiency anemia, bilateral perirenal hematomas, microaneurysms of the renal arteries, cerebral venous thrombosis were found. Immunological studies were positive for antinuclear antibodies, anti Smith, lupus anticoagulant, anti B2GP1 and anticardiolipin, He was treated with pulses of methylprednisolone, with good clinical evolution.
