A 32-year-old male with oral lesions and chronic kidney disease (CKD) requiring hemodialysis. After the seventh hemodialysis session, and without topical treatment of the oral cavity, the oral lesions remitted completely. Uremic stomatitis is a rare manifestation in the oral cavity that occurs in undiagnosed chronic renal failure and in the terminal form. Its etiopathogenesis is not fully elucidated; however, it may be due to increased ammonia compounds. Its identification depends on a careful examination of the oral cavity in every uremic patient.
